Terms of Use & Rental Agreement
Last updated 30 July 2026
Two things before you read further.
You must hold a valid driving licence for a two-wheeler to take a vehicle from us. No licence, no vehicle — there are no exceptions and no discretion at hub level.
Never pay cash to anyone. Every rupee you owe us — subscription, deposit, repairs, anything — is paid digitally through the channels named in this agreement. No FiEV employee, hub staff member or Franchise Partner is authorised to take cash from you for any reason. If anyone asks, refuse and tell us.
1. Who this agreement is with
FiEV Electric Mobility (“FiEV”, “we”, “us”) is operated by FiEV Mobility Pvt. Ltd.. This document covers both your use of this website and, if you subscribe to a vehicle, the terms on which you rent it. In it, “you” and “Rider” mean the person named on the subscription.
Read this before you pay anything. It is a binding agreement. It affects your legal rights and it limits what you can claim from us.
We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, and it is the one that applies each time you renew. If a change materially affects you we will tell you directly. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and return the vehicle at the end of your paid period.
2. Information on this website is indicative
Prices, plan inclusions, vehicle specifications and partner programme figures shown on this site are indicative and may change. Nothing on this website is a binding offer. Binding terms live only in a signed subscription, lease or franchise agreement.
3. What the service is
A FiEV subscription gives you time-bound use of an electric two-wheeler for delivery work, together with:
- a vehicle inspected before handover, with the accessories listed on your handover sheet
- scheduled servicing and maintenance coordination through your local FiEV hub
- breakdown reporting and recovery support during operating hours
- support by WhatsApp, and in person at your hub
The service operates only in the city where you took the vehicle. What is and is not included in your plan is set out on your handover sheet; where this agreement and that sheet differ, the sheet governs.
4. Who owns the vehicle
This matters, and it is not how most rental companies work.
FiEV does not own the vehicle you ride. It is owned by a Fleet Partner, who leases it to FiEV. FiEV then provides it to you under this agreement. You are renting the use of it and nothing more — no ownership, no title, no interest of any kind passes to you at any point, and none ever will, however long you subscribe.
What this means in practice: the vehicle must come back to us at the end of your subscription, you cannot sell, pledge, sub-let, lend or transfer it to anyone, and you cannot allow anybody else to ride it. The subscription is personal to you.
5. Who can subscribe
- You are 18 or over
- You hold a driving licence valid for a two-wheeler, and it stays valid throughout
- You provide identity proof, address proof and a photograph, and they are genuine and current
- You are riding within the city where the vehicle was issued
- You are working with a delivery platform, or joining one
Everything you tell us must be true. Taking a vehicle on the strength of false or forged documents is not a breach of contract we will argue about — it is fraud, and we will report it.
We may decline or end a subscription where documents cannot be verified, where a licence is suspended or expires, where payments repeatedly fail, or where a rider has previously damaged or failed to return a vehicle. We will tell you the reason.
6. What it costs, and how you pay
- Weekly plan: ₹1,540 for 7 days
- Monthly plan: ₹6,160 for 28 days
- Security deposit: ₹2,000, refundable
Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, and may change — but never during a period you have already paid for. Subscriptions are paid in advance by UPI AutoPay and start the moment payment clears. You will get a reminder before each renewal.
If a payment fails we will tell you and give you 2 days to fix it. If it stays unpaid after that, we may suspend the subscription and ask for the vehicle back. We do not charge interest on late payment, and we do not add collection fees.
Your deposit. We hold it for the length of your subscription and return it after the vehicle comes back and has been inspected. We may deduct the cost of damage beyond fair wear and tear, missing accessories, unpaid subscription, or traffic fines incurred while the vehicle was with you. We will show you an itemised breakdown of anything we deduct, and refund the balance within 7 days of the vehicle being returned. If you disagree with a deduction, tell us within 10 days and we will look at it again.
7. Looking after the vehicle
From handover until return, the vehicle is your responsibility.
- Check it before each shift — brakes, lights, tyres, charge level, and any visible damage
- Do not ride it if something is wrong. Report it and we will deal with it
- Lock it and park it sensibly. Most theft happens from a vehicle left unlocked for two minutes
- Report any damage, accident, breakdown or theft to us the same day
- Get repairs done through your FiEV hub, not a third-party mechanic. Outside repairs can void the manufacturer warranty and we may charge you to put the work right
- Keep the vehicle clean and charged
8. If the vehicle is damaged, stolen or not returned
Fair wear and tear is on us. Worn brake pads, tyres, a scuffed panel from normal delivery use — that is the cost of running a fleet and we expect it.
Damage beyond that is on you, up to the cost of repair, which we will quote before the work is done wherever possible.
If it is stolen, report it to us and to the police immediately and give us a copy of the FIR. Where a theft is covered by the insurance on the vehicle and you have followed this clause, your liability is limited to the insurance excess and your deposit. Where a theft happened because the vehicle was left unlocked or the key was left in it, or where no FIR is filed, you may be liable for its full value.
If the vehicle is not returned at the end of your subscription, we will contact you. If it is still not returned 24 hours after we have asked you in writing, we may suspend it remotely, recover it, and treat the matter as misappropriation. Until it is returned you remain liable for it, and we may charge the equivalent daily rate for each day it is out.
Fines and offences. Traffic fines, challans and penalties incurred while the vehicle is with you are yours to pay, whoever the notice is addressed to.
9. Returning the vehicle
Return it to the hub you collected it from, with the accessories you were given. We will inspect it with you present and record the condition. If we agree in advance to a return at a different hub, a transfer charge may apply.
At renewal, the plan continues on the price and terms current at that date, which we will tell you before you pay.
10. What you must not do
You must not:
- Let anyone else ride the vehicle, or sub-let, lend, pledge or transfer it
- Ride without a helmet, or without your licence and the vehicle documents on you
- Ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Exceed the speed limit for the road you are on, or break any traffic law
- Carry more people than the vehicle is registered for, or a load that affects control
- Use a phone in your hand while riding
- Ride when the vehicle has a fault, or when you are too tired or unwell to ride safely
- Use it for racing, stunts, off-road riding, towing, or any hazardous use
- Remove, modify, disable or tamper with any part — including the GPS tracker, battery, speed limiter or odometer
- Use it for anything illegal
- Take it outside the city it was issued in without telling us
Any of these can end your subscription immediately and cost you your deposit.
11. Insurance — read this properly
Every vehicle carries the third-party motor insurance required by the Motor Vehicles Act. Details of any cover beyond that: [to be confirmed].
What that insurance does not do is cover you. It does not pay for your own injury, your medical treatment, your loss of earnings while you cannot work, or your phone and belongings. If you are injured while riding, that cover does not respond to it.
We would strongly encourage you to hold personal accident cover. It is inexpensive, and delivery riding carries real risk. Ask us at your hub if you want help finding a policy — we do not sell insurance and we earn nothing from telling you this.
Insurance will not pay out at all if you were riding without a valid licence, under the influence, or in breach of clause 10. In those situations the loss falls on you.
12. Risk, and the limits of what we are liable for
Riding a two-wheeler for a living is dangerous. Traffic, road surfaces, weather and other road users all carry risk, and you take that risk on when you ride. We provide a maintained vehicle and support; we do not control the roads and we cannot make the work safe.
The vehicle is provided as it is. Beyond the maintenance obligations in this agreement we give no other warranty.
What we do not limit. Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any clause that tried to would not be worth the paper it is written on, and we would rather not pretend otherwise.
What we do limit. Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost earnings, missed orders or lost platform incentives — arising from a vehicle being unavailable, breaking down, or being recovered under this agreement. Our total liability to you in any other case is limited to the subscription fees you have paid us in the three months before the claim, plus your deposit.
13. Suspension and ending the subscription
You may end it at any time by returning the vehicle. We do not refund the unused part of a period you have already paid for, and your deposit is returned under clause 6.
We may suspend or end it, with reasons and with notice wherever possible, if you breach this agreement, if payment fails and is not fixed, if your licence stops being valid, if the vehicle is being misused, or if you gave us false information. Where the safety of the vehicle or of others is at immediate risk, we may act first and explain immediately after.
Ending the agreement does not wipe out money you already owe.
14. Fleet Partner programme
The Fleet Partner programme is a commercial lease. A partner buys and owns a physical vehicle and leases it to FiEV for a rental. It is not a deposit, a security, a collective investment scheme or any other regulated financial product, and it carries no investor protection of any kind.
Figures on this website, including anything produced by the returns calculator, come from our business plan assumptions. They are not forecasts, not guarantees and not financial advice. What a partner actually earns depends on whether we keep vehicles utilised and collections disciplined, and that can go badly. Read the lease agreement in full and take independent financial and legal advice before committing money.
15. Franchise Partner programme
Franchise Partners operate a FiEV hub in a defined territory under our brand and standard operating procedures. Commercial terms are set out in a separate franchise agreement. Nothing on this website is an offer of a franchise.
16. Photographs at hubs
We sometimes photograph or film at hubs and events for our own marketing. If you would rather not appear, tell whoever is holding the camera, or email us afterwards and we will remove you. We will not use your image to endorse anything without asking you first.
17. Using this website
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, disrupt it, or extract data from it using automated tools. All content, branding and design on it belongs to FiEV Mobility Pvt. Ltd. unless stated otherwise. The site itself is provided as it is, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for loss arising from relying on information published on it.
18. Things outside anyone’s control
We are not liable for failing to perform where the cause is genuinely beyond our control — natural disaster, epidemic, government order, civil unrest, or failure of the power or telecommunications network. This does not excuse us from refunding money you have paid for a service you did not receive.
19. General
This agreement, together with your handover sheet and any signed subscription document, is the whole agreement between us and replaces anything said beforehand. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something immediately, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under this agreement to anyone else. We act as independent parties — this agreement does not make either of us the other’s employee, agent or partner.
20. Governing law
Indian law governs this agreement, and the courts of Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute under it. Nothing here takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including your right to go to a consumer forum.
21. Accepting these terms
By subscribing you confirm that you are 18 or over, that you have the capacity to enter into this agreement, that you have read and understood it, and that you are accepting it freely and without pressure. We accept digital acceptance as a signature.
If any of this is unclear, ask us before you pay — not after.
